if i were more of a girly-girl, and if i thought Handsome would stand for it, i might include fairies. ;)
I actually did have a "fairy tree" at my wedding reception. It was 15' tall and made of crumpled brown paper and hundreds of mini green balloons. There was a "mylar" lake beneath it and fake water lilies. (The wedding was in December and we had a tight budget so the reception had to be indoors.)
It is the one thing everyone remembers--more than the cake or the place settings or even my dress.
And I love my husband, because he took pictures in front of it the whole night without saying a word on how silly it all was.
that sounds awesome - and like it took a lot of work!
